September 28 marks the second year of Vindictus’ release. In celebration of this event, Nexon has released a new update that also includes gifts and special events for players.
- 2nd Anniversary Event – 25th to 27th September: When you stay logged in the game at 19:00 BST, you can receive the 2nd anniversary box x1, which contains the Phoenix Wing
- Phoenix Wing Special Sales Promotion – 28th September to 3rd October: only 2 hour sales per day – from 17:00 to 19:00 BST! (2nd Anniversary special item)
- Level Rush Event– October 11th-31st any new character created gets a boost to level 50, and will also receive character specific items.

Also included in the update is a new PvP mode called Siege Match, based on the ‘rock, paper, scissors’ rules. Siege Match is team vs. team mode, and players are able to apply for the match through the ‘Battlemaster’ who is in Rocheste. As the death match commences, the goal is to destroy the Guardian Statues of the opposing team.
