Pretty sweet, eh? We thought so too! Although Raider Z’s weapon crafting and quest systems are what you’d expect from this MMO genre, its game play and graphics should ensure that this MMO captures the eyes of many players. The bosses look fierce and the in depth customization of characters is a perfect representation of the time that the Raider Z team put into the development of this MMO (but we’ll touch on that a little bit later). For now, the Raider Z Closed Beta is currently set to launch on February 2 and should bring some more footage in the next few months. The Raider Z team did post some pictures of what can be expected, so have a look below!
Along with these awesome graphics, the Raider Z Closed Beta is attempting blaze their own trail in the MMO arena by including a new classless system with no exclusive skills per character. All characters will start with 6 skill points, however, a character’s advancement direction will fall on the player to decide. Along with the unique character development system, the item system will also have its own unique feel. Monsters will not drop gold or full items. Instead, monsters will drop fragments that must be collected to craft an entire item.
Along with all of the previously mentioned features, Raider Z’s bosses are smarter than your average MMO boss. The team has introduce a new AI style in this MMO that can catch players off guard and ensures that warriors stay on their toes when combating these fierce beasts. The PvP combat shows some real promise, and the non targeting combat system will require that players master their dodge and defending abilities to out maneuver their foes.
All in all, the Raider Z Closed Beta is some pretty exciting news, and we can not wait to check it out! This MMO shows some real promise and should have plenty of news in the following months. We’re definitely excited about the graphics, however; the item, class, and combat systems should help take this MMO to the next level. The Raider Z Closed Beta is set for launch in just a couple days (February 2) and seems to be moving along on track.
