Psyonix and Square Enix today announced that the long-awaited free-to-play competitive MMO, Nosgoth, is rapidly approaching its open beta release following months of feedback and updates during closed beta. The worldwide open beta for Nosgoth is scheduled to begin on January 21st at 10AM Pacific time, 1PM Eastern.
Nosgoth gives players the opportunity to engage in small competitive skirmishes with opposing forces in fantastic fashion as the two main forces of the Nosgoth universe collide – the humans and vampires. The main element that helps distinguish Nosgoth from other games in the genre is its asymmetric approach to combat design and balance – giving players the option to “sidegrade” abilities as opposed to typical strengthening.
