Old-school roleplaying is set to be at the forefront of the latest attempt to breath life back into the MMO style of yesteryear with the first official details released for Revival. A game of exploration, dark fantasy and villainy is set to return players to the nostalgia fueled experiences of their first MMO with an new take on an old genre.
A player-driven, persistent world without compromise are the founding principles for a new MMORPG game that hopes to build on the legacy left by games like Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot. A game that hopes to attract players with a player created world of individual stories and experiences that collide to reveal a world of intrigue and depth.
Revival is a game we’re developing in stages. Each stage adds an important element to the game until, in our final stage, the game will be a whole and cohesive experience. Most projects of this size would develop their early stages in secret, but Revival is a game literally about interacting with its players, so in that spirit we’ve decided to work in public, giving players a chance to see things as they develop and take part as early as possible.
