Aeria Games (publisher of hugely popular MMO’s and Lime Odyssey), announced that Lime Odyssey: The Chronicles of Orta will feature farming, among tons of other features, to enhance player’s gaming experience. The release date is still in the works, however, Lime Odyssey’s debut should be sometime in 2012. Let’s get into the details so you know what to expect from this highly anticipated 3D free MMORPG!
Lime Odyssey’s farming feature is merely one aspect of a whole plethora of awesome features, so let’s talk about how the farming works. The farming system allows players to harvest crops and livestock for some extra treasure. Lime Odyssey has various types of livestock and crops to be harvested, which allows players to receive a variety of items from their farming efforts. The farms can be found in generally every main town,therefore all that you need to do is talk to the farmer of that town to begin your farming expedition. Players are able to receive tokens based off of what they are farming to unlock their items. While understanding what the farming feature allows players to do is important, the farming system itself has a very interactive play style. Much like in real life, Lime Odyssey’s farm feature requires that players consistently care for their livestock and crops. The farming feature uses a system that is based around the level of satisfaction for their summoned livestock or crop. If players are unable to feed/heal their farm-mates, the level of satisfaction will decrease to greatly dissatisfied. Likewise, adamant farm goers will reap the rewards of highly satisfied crops and livestock. You may be wondering, “What’s the big deal about having highly satisfied livestock and crops?” and the answer to this question rests in the fact that you can NOT harvest your farm unless you have greatly satisfied your crops or livestock. It’s important to also consistently care for you farm, because greatly satisfied crops and livestock can produce rarer items, and as they grow, will possess greater rewards. Each stage of growth will change the way your livestock or produce looks, and allows players to get extremely involved with your farm-mates.
The farm feature in Lime Odyssey allows players to get highly involved with their farm and is an extremely fun way to pass some time (especially for fans of farm-style games).
