Earlier this week award-winning developers Funcom sent out an email to their community with details of changes surrounding the servers for the action-packed Bloodline Champions. Blood Champions players will now use servers run by new hosts Stunlock, but access will still be granted through Valve’s digital distribution and gaming platform, Steam.
Funcom have been working closely with the Steam team to remove the regional restrictions that were put in place during the early beta and post release client updates for Bloodline Champions. All in-game accounts will now be tied to a Steam account with new accounts automatically connecting through Steam. Players with existing Bloodline Champions accounts have been emailed unique key-codes that they can use to bind current accounts to new or existing Steam accounts.
New Steam packages will also be available in the coming days with those that purchase the Warrior or Warchief pack being treated to a special bonus gift of a set of silver weapons.
