On February 26th, fans of the real time strategy game Europa Universalis IV will be able to experience the latest expansion: El Dorado. In the fifth expansion of this particular series, players will be able to build and create empires based on the ancient civilizations of Central America. They can play as European conquerors searching for lost treasures and cities, or they can play as the Aztecs, ruling and dominating the Yucatan peninsula and warding off invaders.
Several key features of the update include new religions for the Aztec and Mezoamerican nations, including the option to sacrifice vassal kings for favor from the gods. In addition, there is a new Nation Designer that allows players more versatility when designing a new civilization, gold fleets that can send riches back to Europe, pirate fleets that can be attacked and siezed for bounty, and more.
Europa Universalis IV is made by Paradox Development Studios, and is available for download on PC, Mac and Linux. To find out more about the game and begin your new world adventure, go to www.europauniversalis4.com
