Red 5 Studios announced that the annual Wintertide Live Event for the massive online open-world shooter, Firefall. The holiday themed event will let players participate in fun encounters that include helping Father Wintertide, Snowball Fights, and Whacking Elves. On completion of these activities, players will earn rewards available through Wintertide vendors that are located in Copacabana, Dredge, and Kanaloa Research Station.
Father Wintertide
Father Wintertide’s rocket sleigh has been gunned down by bandits and he asks for your help. Aid him by collecting parts to fix his rocket sleigh and defend the presents from the evil bandits. Watch out though, these bands will be bringing some serious firepower.
Snowball Fight
There no better way than to celebrate Wintertide than playing snowball with your friends? To make it official, Red 5 Studios is putting up Snowball Fight arenas all around the world so that you can challenge friend and strangers at any time. Visit a Snowball Fight arena and let the battles begin!
Whack an Elf
I can admit, I’ve thought about bonking these little annoying humanoids from time to time, and now I can! Whack an Elf is a personal game that players can spawn on demand, which will all you to slay these pesky elves with a festive holiday hammer. The more you wreck, the more points you’ll receive and the more prizes you’ll earn!
