As was promised, Bungie has been periodically releasing announcements today of the new Exotics that will be featured in the Destiny expansion: The Taken King. Bungie’s Xûr has thus far released two posts on Instagram today revealing the identity of two Exotics that Destiny fans can expect to see appear in the upcoming expansion.
The first of these two is the Empyrean Bellicose. According to the official caption that is included for the helmet: “ This barely understood Golden Age technology once held aloft the floating gardens of Pomona Mons. Now, it’s stopping bullets.” Xûr also adds in the post: “Titans: fly like the shadows with the Empyrean Bellicose. Aiming your weapons while in the air will hold you in place for a short time. Orbs collected when your Super is full will recharge your melee ability.”
The second Exotic released today, is known as The Chaperone. The Caption for this Exotic Shotgun features a quote from Amanda Holiday: “ My mother had a shotgun we called the Chaperone, Kept us alive out there, before we got to the City.” According the description included in the post: “The Chaperone Exotic shotgun fires a single slug shot and grants an Agility boost when equipped. Your precision kills will grant a brief increase to Handling, Range, Rate of Fire, and Stability.
In other news for Destiny, new details for the Taken King have emerged in the Latest Bungie Teaser trailer for the upcoming expansion.
