2K, Shanda Games and Gearbox are releasing Borderlands Online for the Chinese market. The game will feature many characters and locations from the Borderlands universe, but with a heavy focus on independent play that syncs with online MMORPG formats. Borderlands Online is planned to be released for both PC and mobile devices. The beta is set to release in China in 2015. Hopefully the game will have a successful launch in the East, but the games popularity grew vastly in the West, so I can see many Borderlands players salivating in order to play a title like this.
