While AAA developers continue to battle financial models and increasingly high expectations the independent scene is swooping into form with exciting and innovative additions to gaming, the latest of which being ArtCraft Entertainment’s Crowfall.
Independent developer ArtCraft Entertainment launched a website several weeks ago, titled simply Play2Crush. The website was a blank slate and featured little more than a basic description of an MMORPG and a registration form. Over 10,000 players registered their interest in the game, one that had yet to receive its official title at that time.
We now know that ArtCraft Entertainment’s upcoming MMORPG is Crowfall, an immersive, visceral experience fueled by imagination and the desire to create something different.
Crowfall isn’t a game for everyone. It’s for players who are looking for a more immersive, more visceral experience. The early response was fantastic, but we still expect to build this community one player at a time.
There’s still very little information on the game but the developers have advised players to frequent the official website as they’ll be releasing more information in coming weeks.
